Kālī's spiritual tools to combat negative energies
Confronting fears
One of Kālī's most important teachings is that fear is not something to run away from, but something to face. Fear is essentially a mind-generated fear of the unknown. In meditation we can confront our fears and recognise that they are often illusions. Kālī's energy helps to dissolve fear and gives us the courage to achieve inner freedom.
Transforming anger
Anger is a powerful emotion that carries great energy. Kālī, as a warrior goddess, teaches that anger can be transformed into creative energy if it is consciously controlled. Pranayama, especially kapālabhāti (fire breathing) and bhastrikā breathing, can help to release the energy of anger and channel it towards positive ends.
Practising forgiveness
Forgiveness plays an important role in Kālī's teachings and is essential for inner healing. Forgiveness is not a weakness but an inner strength that frees the individual from the burdens of the past. This letting go helps the individual to free himself from anger and the desire for revenge.
