What is the awakening of Kundalini?
or when the snake slumbering at the base of your spine decides it's had enough of a quiet rest
A kundalini awakening - if I had to sum it up in one sentence - it's as if the Universe decides to remind you in an internal lightning bolt: "Hello, you weren't born just to have lunch, complain and answer emails."
It's not a dramatic Netflix series, of course, where the protagonist suddenly starts to glow, starts to float, and then tells the world, "I am the Awakening itself."
(Well, sometimes that's what happens, unfortunately, but we call that spiritual theatre, not awakening.)
The kundalini literally means divine energy which is located at the base of the spinal column, at the mūlādhāra cakra swirling around you like a discreet but stubbornly silent hot air balloon, waiting for you to turn your attention inwards and not outwards.
When this energy wake up, it will start to rise - provided you rise with it. It's not the lift, but rather someone trying to start their old Lada engine: stuttering, jerking, smoke - and then, in a holy moment, something starts. (And if you weren't prepared, you might have put it in reverse.)
Without cleaning? Better not!
The kundalini does not tolerate clutter. If you're still angry inside with your aunt, three exes and your high school history teacher, this energy doesn't sweep it under the carpet, it reaches in, enlargesand throws it back at you - with fluorescent colours and dramatic music.
Therefore don't believe it someone who says "I have opened my crown chakra after two YouTube videos and I am now communicating with the Pleiadians." This sort of thing belongs mostly on the table of psychology or neuroscience - not spiritual development.
But then... why do we do it?
Because if he really wakes up - gently, gently, after cleansing -, then this energy not madness, but becomes awareness. It doesn't energise you, it quiets you. It doesn't take you out of reality, it takes you back to it, only to a deeper, clearer layer - where your personality is no longer in distress, but where Being rests within you.
True kundalini awakening is not spectacular. It does not happen outside. There are no bells ringing. Only silence deepens within you - and can no longer be taken away.
If you are still asking "how can I wake up the Kundalini quickly?" - take a walk in the woods and learn to listen to the birds. Because if presence doesn't work, then kundalini will just be another excuse to avoid presence.
And snakes, as we know - they don't like to be manipulated. Especially not by spiritual influencers.
